I need a great team
We’re looking for our next ECM Junior Graphic Designer who will work closely with our web and marketing team! The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography.
Experience with a range of creative design tools is required, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and XD, depending on the specific initiatives. Some experience with integrating video into social graphics is also an asset.
You’re going to be working on some pretty sweet website, social media, logo and branding, print media, paid ads, and packaging designs as well as clothing and swag projects. Never a dull moment here!

Required Skills
- A sharp eye for illustrative design and typography.
- You’re a critical and conceptual thinker that knows how to bring an idea to life.
- Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Canva, and super strong technical skills that allow you to adapt to new applications and tools easily.
- Experience with updating branding and layout designs in Microsoft Word and Powerpoint.
- Experience in professionally retouching images.
- Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends — Super important!
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to edit copy during the course of your design production if needed.

Nice to Have Skills
- Some experience with basic video editing would be an asset.
- A solid understanding of web usability, typography, and responsive web design.
- Understanding of creating images optimized for the web.
Duties Would Include:
- Ideating, creating and generating graphic designs for our clients’ in all formats including web, social platforms, and print.
- Taking direction from the project manager to create design deliverables for clients.
- Delivering design assets on time based on requirements and your commitments.
- Supporting our team and our clients with new design templates or guidelines to enable our team to continue to scale up.
- Contribute to creative copy required as part of some projects and when the copy is not readily provided.
- Updating images and headers in WordPress.
Hours per week: 20-40
