The Client

Naomi Bourque creates jewelry of substance and sustainability, crafting authentic Indigenous pieces made from antler, horn, hide, and other natural materials sourced from Canada’s Far North.

Born and raised in Yellowknife, NT, Naomi is of Gwich’in, Metis, and Scandinavian descent. Her work is shaped by the land she calls home. She draws inspiration from its colours, textures, organic forms, and the materials it provides, including caribou and moose antler, muskox and bison horn, beluga ivory, and various ethically sourced claws. By blending traditional materials with contemporary techniques, Naomi honours her heritage while giving her pieces a distinct, modern identity.

The Problem

Naomi’s original Weebly website was not equipped to support the needs of a growing brand.

It did not reflect the quality or artistry of her one of a kind designs and made it difficult to manage inventory, track customer behaviour, or build detailed customer profiles. The platform could not support targeted email marketing or proper analytics, and it was not structured for conversion focused advertising. Without a strong visual identity or the right digital foundation, Naomi could not scale her business or showcase her work in a way that matched its value.

What We Did

To support Naomi’s growth, we rebuilt her digital presence from the ground up.

The brand moved from Weebly to Shopify, giving her a stable and scalable platform with proper inventory tools, analytics, and marketing integrations. We developed a new visual identity and logo, and created a custom designed Shopify website that highlights the craftsmanship behind each piece. Her collections were photographed in a professional shoot with Supernaturals Modelling, the world’s first all Indigenous modelling agency, giving her product library a cohesive and elevated look. We also introduced strategies to increase average order value, promoted her custom work, and set the foundation for targeted advertising and email marketing.

The Outcome

Naomi now has a fully redesigned Shopify website that reflects her brand, her artistry, and the Northern materials that define her work.

Her new product photos showcase the detail and uniqueness of each piece, creating a stronger connection with customers. With proper tracking and integrations, the brand is ready for Phase 2, which includes Meta ads, SEO campaigns, and ongoing brand awareness efforts. A new email marketing system allows Naomi to re engage customers, share stories from the land, and grow long term relationships with her audience.
