For over 25 years, Stenberg College has been helping students both locally and internationally get an exceptional education and a career they love in Canada. The College’s main campus is located in Surrey, BC and offers programs in health care, education, human services, and business. Stenberg boasts state of the art training facilities and wide-reaching industry partnerships, making it one of the top private colleges in the country.
They are recognized and accredited by the B.C. government’s Ministry of Advanced Education through the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB), and are also authorized by EduCanada, the official Government of Canada resource for international students. International students at Stenberg College also benefit from post-graduation pathways to the British Columbia Institute of Technology and Yorkville University.
Stenberg College has been a long time client of Emily Chow Marketing. We are an extension of the Stenberg College Marketing team and have experienced many successes together with paid social ads, HubSpot, and Google Analytics. We had already helped them in the design, development and project management of their International site and we decided it was time to redesign the Domestic site to ensure continuity across both websites.
Their main goal: To ensure a seamless transition between the International and Domestic websites while promoting the college’s programs to prospective students (no matter where they happened to land on the site). And, of course, they wanted to provide a bold, lightning fast, interactive website and mobile experience to all visitors.
We utilized the same design template from the International site to ensure the two websites complemented one another. A brighter color palette with more pastel tones were used to convey a visual difference across the two sites. Identical moving motifs from the international site were used to showcase the continuity between the two sides of the college.
There was one major change (we just couldn’t help ourselves!): We updated the program selector to facilitate the more significant number of courses offered and separated by industry. The international and domestic divisions of the college now enjoy a singular, cohesive online presence.
It was just as we’d hoped! Not even a month after the launch, the new Stenberg International website saw decreased bounce rate and an increase in contact form fills (#HelloConversions)!
The user flow through the home page also increased by 22% and were being funneled to the main Programs page. The senior leadership team at the college was impressed with us all around and are big fans of the design, functionality, and most importantly, the performance statistics. The numbers speak for themselves, Folks.
