I’ll be hosting a series of Google Analytics workshops with The Magazine Association of BC to help its community thrive in the world of making data-backed decisions that get you more subscribers, more website traffic, and better advertisers.
But, first things first. Do you even have Google Analytics installed on your website? And, is GA4 set up yet? Because, they’re getting rid of Universal Analytics of July 2023.

Join us in this workshop and you’ll learn how to:
- Install Google Analytics 4 and set up the basics of Google Tag Manager to gain deeper insights into how visitors behave and interact with your website.
- Familiarize yourself with basic reports to see who your audience is: What country and city they’re from, the devices they use, their age, what landing pages they frequent most, and more.
- Set up basic event tracking in Google Tag Manager so that you can see how many people see your subscribe pop up window or page, how many people click ignore, how many people subscribe, and how many people land on your subscribe page and do nothing.
