A Niche Statement is Clear, Concise and Unmistakably YOU!

Let’s get right to it. A niche statement is a clear and concise statement that describes:

  • Who you are
  • What you do
  • The results you get for your ideal clients

Niche statements need to quickly and effectively communicate who you are and what solutions you bring to the table, BEFORE your ideal client scrolls away. That’s not a lot of time so you need to hit them hard with a statement that’s juicy enough to make them stay.

There are a few ways to put one together… but I come with gifts: Sweet templates with fill-in-the-blank sections that guide you through creating your very own shiny, new niche statement (that you can use anywhere)!

Knowing your customers is the first step to creating a niche statement.

You need to understand your customers, their pains and the results they are seeking BEFORE crafting your amazing niche statement. If you don’t know who your ideal customer is, head over to this blog to figure it out: “What You Really Need to Know About Your Ideal Clients.”

Once you’ve established who your ideal customer is, what their pain points are, and HOW you can solve them, we’re ready to move on to your niche statement.

Let’s Create Your Niche Statement

Try this on for size:

NICHE STATEMENT TEMPLATE #1

I HELP __________________ (Who do you help? Hint: This is your ideal customer)

ACHIEVE ________________ (What results do they want?)

THROUGH _______________ (How do you help them get the results?)

Or how about this?

NICHE STATEMENT TEMPLATE #2

I SHARE ________________ (type of content you want to share)

FOR____________________  (ideal client)

WHO WANT _____________ (solutions and results they want).

Here’s mine as an example: No-stress marketing and web solutions for growing brands that want to get seen, loved, and selling online.

Helpful? Now, it’s your turn! Use my templates to tell your customers why you’re the best choice to get them the results they’re after.

(PS. It’s ok for your niche statement to shift and evolve over time — especially as you become more clear in who you are, what you do, and the undeniable value you provide to your customers. Mine has certainly evolved, so it makes sense that yours would too, right?!)
